FMC — Full Metal Combat User Manual

FMC is a Minecraft mod where you pilot giant robots into battle. Pick your machine, pick your weapons, and fight to be the last one standing.

1. Getting Ready

fmc-1.0.0.jar	Download from the CurseForge page

Install NeoForge 26.1.2.x (26.1.2.73 or later) from neoforged.net
Put fmc-1.0.0.jar into your .minecraft/mods/ folder
Launch with the NeoForge profile → connect to the server via Multiplayer (Single-player works too — set "Allow Cheats: ON" when creating the world)

Playing alone? Single-player works just fine.

You will also get a reminder in chat when you join a server. Just check these three:

"Hostile Creatures" volume	ON	Every machine sound plays through this channel

Whether on a server or in single-player, run Setup from the in-game FMC menu once per world.

It applies all FMC world settings in one shot: fall damage off, fixed weather and time, hostile mobs disabled, and more
If you skip it, you can take fall damage when dismounting your machine
It requires permissions:
- Single-player: set "Allow Cheats: ON" when creating the world
- Server: have the admin /op you first (fine to remove it afterwards)
